This is a walk through of the show on the morning of August 6th prior to opening.
We want to thank all of those that came to Joan's art show! It was a pleasure to see everyone and hear the wonderful stories. So many wonderful conversations and comments about Joan's life in art.
In seven hours Joan's art was able to raise $6,450.60 for the Friends of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge Artist in Residence Program. Since the sixth we have continued to receive generous donations!

Welcome to the Joan Lehman Memorial Art Show Information Website
Joan’s art was available to purchase at this gallery show including paintings, pottery and more to be picked up after the show. All proceeds will go to the Malheur Wildlife Refuge AIR Program. The Artist-in-Residence program combines childhood education of nature through art and the Malheur Wildlife Refuge, a place Joan cherished. Donations are tax deductible.
If you wish, you can donate in Joan's honor with the donate button below to the Friends of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge Artist-in-Residence (AIR) program.
With this show we commemorate the artist, teacher, mother, friend, nature enthusiast and so much more that was Joan Lehman.
About the Artist
Joan Mignon Lehman, lovingly known as “Teacher Joan” by generations both in and around Malheur County for her work at the City of Ontario Recreation Center and the TVCC Art and ESL programs, passed peacefully onto her next journey with the love of her four children, two grandsons, family and friends palpable in the air around her. Joan was a true original. As an artist her whole life, she created many beautiful pieces in so many different media, most notably clay...
